Maxxed out Server

Let’s make a long story short. I’ve come into contact with a server which I need to max out the resources on, I’ve been trying my best but it needs something more. If I ran some captcha cracking stuff on it as an API service how many would be interested? I’d be a lot cheaper than employing bored students.What captchas would you all want destroyed :D

    Had a friend with an idea to do the same thing as SETI, you know distributed processing of information. Then allow people to sell their excess computer/server processes to him. He could then sell huge amounts of processing power to movie studios or whoever needs the computing power.

    Apparently the only difficult part is determining the amount of money to be paid to each user. While it will end up being quite small, large companies and schools might be able to pay for their electricity and a bit more via this software. The guy said he had it all figured out.

    @John: I did think about doing that but I couldn’t find anywhere that wasn’t a load of people bidding to sell their cpu time without any buyers.

    @nickycakes: I love the way you interject google. Only 2 people and a dog actually know what you mean but hey :D .

    I think I’ve just figured out what you mean. Sorry my mind was elsewhere. I thought you meant something else :D . The singular word google could have been the answer to a number of questions I asked.
